SUNNYSIDE
ABOUT US
The Lord has blessed this assembly
With the appointment of Dr T.J. Swift in 2001, the way forward came under the spotlight and on Sunday 6 April 2003 started with an English Service at 10:00 directly after the Afrikaans Service which started at 08:30. It was a difficult time for the assembly to adapt. The start was very humble and the English service was attended by 176 people.

The membership numbers of the assembly are constantly growing and there can be testified of the great blessing, grace and favour received from the hand of God. In 2008 a second English service were started at 11:30 to accommodate more members. The strategic situation of this assembly, places it in one of the most densely populated areas in South Africa, approximately 50 000 people in the area. The assembly were also joined by a Portuguese group; a French group, an Amharic group, a Tigrigna group, bringing the number of services in 6 different languages. At the moment we offer 9 services per Sunday, with a full programme during the week.
